School Sporting Opportunities
Sport at
School
HPE lessons form a major part of students’ sporting
opportunities. With the financial assistance from the Australian Government’s
Sporting Schools initiative, many sporting opportunities have been made
available to support and complement HPE lessons.
In 2018, Ubobo State School is advantaged with a tennis
coach and new tennis equipment, a football (soccer) coach with new soccer
equipment, and a gymnastics coach with new equipment.
To support students at Ubobo State School during play
breaks, the school offers a ball machine suitable for tennis and cricket,
soccer nets, a netball/basketball court, a tennis court, two playgrounds, and
bikes/trikes to play with.
